My academic journey evolves more than 20 years of teaching experience specialising in finance across the globe. My areas of expertise include financial management, corporate finance, investment analysis, international finance, and financial modelling. My undergraduate education (BSc in Economics & Statistics) laid a solid foundation in economic theory, quantitative analysis, and critical thinking. Motivated by my passion for finance, I pursued an MBA in Finance, that culminated in a PhD in Finance, where my doctoral research focused on the intricate and challenging relationships between CSR initiatives and financial performance in emerging markets.
My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that education should be an engaging and transformative experience. My teaching style is dynamic and interactive and incorporates real-world case studies, simulations, and the latest market data. By bridging the gap between theoretical concepts and practical applications, I ensure that my students develop a comprehensive understanding of finance and its implications in the global economy.
My research interests in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), emerging markets, business groups, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) reflect a holistic approach to addressing contemporary issues in finance and economics. Through rigorous analysis and innovative thinking, I strive to contribute valuable knowledge that can inform practice, shape policy, and drive positive change in the global financial landscape. By exploring these diverse areas, my work seeks to enhance our understanding of the complex interplay between economic forces and societal well-being, ultimately contributing to a more sustainable and equitable world.
