Structure and functioning of international financial markets.  Relationship between monetary policy and financial markets.  Capital flows, exchange rates, and interest rates.  Risk management and hedging strategies in global markets.  Financial crises and systemic risks.

Module 3: Advanced Econometric Techniques
Time series analysis for macroeconomic and financial data. o Stationarity, unit root tests, and cointegration. o Vector Autoregression (VAR) and Vector Error Correction Models (VECM).  Panel data econometrics and its applications. o Fixed and random effects models. o Dynamic panel data models (e.g., GMM).  Forecasting and policy evaluation using econometric models.  Big data techniques in econometrics: Machine learning and AI applications in economics.
